Horfield & Redland Chess Club

Formed in 1942, Horfield & Redland is one of the top chess clubs in the Bristol and District League with four teams entered for the 2007-08 season. The top ‘A’ team is fighting for the league championship once more, the ‘B’ and ‘C’ teams play to a high standard in Division 2, and the ‘D’ team caters for the beginners in Division 5.

The club plays next to the United Reform Church, just off Whiteladies Road on Tuesday evenings between 7.30 and 10.30 pm from September to April.
